Nothing like the smell of wet alpaca in the morning…
It’s done! It’s blocking! It will be wearable soon!
My Tangled Yoke Cardigan is currently smelling up the house, sprawled out on the office floor. Pictures to come soon. I don’t really remember when I started it (late January? early February?) but it’s done well in time for a few more cold days. By the way, were those snowflakes the other night? Not fair, April, not fair.
I was able to crunch the sweater out ahead of schedule thanks to the wave of debilitating illness that has struck our household. Jonathan has been a pile of sniffly, coughing yuck for as long as I can remember (I have the memory of a fruitfly – last Tuesday), and I can’t wait ’til he gets better. My current concern is whether or not it’ll hit me next…you can only sleep next to a feverish, coughing, raspy boyfriend so many days without asking for trouble. We have an anniversary coming up next week and I’d like to do something nice. Hopefully it won’t be celebrated by toasting shots of Dimetapp and sleeping from 9-9. Although, I can’t complain about the sleeping – it’s been good for me.
Yay sweater! Boo flu!
